    yea but see this guy in this thread had the same issue. http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-network-forum/29013-problem-non-existant-switch.html and simplesimon i guess had posted something years ago on how to fix it and it worked but the post is no longer there. and simon isnt around anymore

    i have a dvr 501 and receiver 311 and the model is dish 500 everything works fine in the bedroom even if i switch boxes they still work i get all the channels in the bedroom but in the living room i dont .

    i did check between the box and the wall took it all apart and made sure everything was tight. as for the dish part it will have to wait till tomorrow thanks for the replies
