    Dish Network 222 receiver

Anyone here anything about the new 222 receiver from dish. I guess it is suppose to be a hd dual tuner to tv1 and standard def to tv2. It is suppose to be like the 622, minus the dvr. I was wondering if anyone has tried one yet? And if you, what do you think about it?

    Wrong Satellite

Mast is definitely not level, you can either level this out. Or you can bump the elevation up 2 degrees and move the dish to the left. When I mean left, this is when you are standing behind the dish.

DirecTV, EchoStar await their fate at AT&T With A PartnerShip

Same with dual tuner, you can only record 1 show and watch live tv on the other, or you can record two shows but are forced to watch what you are recording or something your previously recorded.

DishNetwork/ Wild Blue Internet service dying again?

Wild Blue needs to be 5 feet above the ground level A wild blue dish is suppose to at least 5 feet off the ground since the microwave on the tria can burn you. The bad part is that dish network only provides 8 foot poles that have to be bent about 3 feet and then have to be buried 3 feet in...

DishNetwork/ Wild Blue Internet service dying again?

You would think that customers would only order wild blue when the only option is dial up, but suprisely these installs are spring up in detroit and surrounding cities where you can get almost any type of dsl or cable internet service. I really don't why some of these customer would order this...

DirecTV, EchoStar await their fate at AT&T With A PartnerShip

It really doesn't matter if at&t drops directv or dish network, since both companies are screwed once at&t releases their uverse nation wide. I see within the next 5 to 10 years directv and dish network combining forces just to stay afloat. I bet the owner of dish network wished he took the...

    detroit dish installers

Im one of those sh!tty techs from detroit you are talking about. Contractors don't get paid if the job don't go through, direct dish network employees get paid per hour, which is a pretty crappy wage at that. Risking our life by put a dish on some of those crack houses in detroit, where you...

Getting a new roof; advice for dish placement

You are going to have to pay for 2 hours of service at $59 per hour. You must pay this since it is not a trouble call, but a service change. So you will have to pay the fee since the dish has already been put in a set spot. The only way they would move it for $29.99 if there was a tree...

    Dont Buy Gas On 5-15-2007

If only the gas station owners refused to sell gas for a day, that would be a lot better. Lousy Gas Prices:(

    Need a new job!

I currently work for dish network directly in michigan. The pay is alright, and we only work 4 days a week. Lets just say it is good when the weather is really crappy out, but not good on most days. Our benefits even suck now, but we get a lot of bonuses and vacation/holiday pay.

    Detect Local Channel Issue

Try going to factory defaults then back into add channels. If that don't work, hold down the power button for 5 seconds and let it reset. After that clear out the locals then re add them.

    My Transponder strenghts

You probably could get a little more signal strength, but your signals look decent. Base your 119 & 110 on transponder 11 and 129 on transponder 5.

DishNetwork/ Wild Blue Internet service dying again?

Wild Blue is alright Wild blue should strictly be used when the only available option is dial up. Wild blue satellite runs at a decent speed, but if you can get dsl or cable broadband internet, get that.
