Thanks but I am sure it is not a ground block, those and a good ground system saved me from a lot more damage when lightning hit my dish a few years ago. Would never do an install without them! As to what is there, it only has three stubs, labeled In, Out, Out, making me think it is a splitter...

Wondering about an existing Slimline (3 or 5 ??) installation at a rental property. Two coax from dish to what looks like a splitter, one on Input and one on first Output. The second output is open but it looks like the coax that was formerly connected there was "hijacked" to a FIOS demark...
