other info, Ive tried setting to 1080i and 720p no change. I guess it could be a setting in my tv, haven't actually looked into that yet. Any thoughts?

For a few months now, many of my HD channels (Dish Network in St. Louis) are displaying with alot of overscan issues. Where the sides of picture are cut off, not zooming, just a crop I guess. Some of the channels, TBS, Food Network, USA, Palladium, etc. I have a vip622 and a 61" samsung...

hence why I dont think I can apply for it, as I cannot log in to their site, I do not have a "dish account" I have an ATT account, my id is my phone number.

Ive seen the term floating around but cant get a solid explanation of it. Plus Im not sure since I ordered Dish through ATT if I apply to it either. Anyone got a link with info on it?

Hey Im an ATT/Dish bundler. I was wondering is there any mechanism to do an upgrade on dvr receivers? I have a ViP622 and was interested in upgrading to a ViP722? Is there any way to do this outside of paying for the whole thing?

Well, just called ATT today. The CSR knew exactly what I meant by switching to Dry Loop DSL. She had me swapped over billing wise in a matter of 3 minutes. She said the transition will be seamless that I will not even notice the switch over when they come out to switch the line next week.

heh this is why Im hesitant on calling them at this time, I dont want to spend a long time getting no where due to the CSR not knowing anything, even though its on the website clearly now.

Has anyone tried to bundle the "naked' dsl with Dish Network through ATT? I believe naked dsl is called "Direct (express) DSL" in St. Louis.

turns out that magic lil meter worked quite well. The quality assurance specialist said thats the highest signal he's ever been able to get from 118 transponder 18. I think my receiver said like 61 for the signal.

turns out after contacting E* directly via email, someone called my house and we arranged to have the mac daddy of dish alignment devices coming to my house to align my dish or whatever the terminology is. hope that works
