i assume this is the tier that D* will add the non-premium movie channels. it seems these are just hd-movie channels that aren't hbo,max, etc.

the problem is that a lot of guys are new to the 5lnb dishes. they are taught that they need a broad spectrum to hit all the birds in the sky. 99 and 103 do sit lower over the horizon then the other 3. so if an installer sees trees he is taught to assume "no go" i would say half the time they...

does any other manufacturer plan to make aftermarket receivers in MPEG-4 for D*? Or are we stuck with the D* branded receivers...

Currently I'm using the D* H20. It is an ok receiver, however, I'm looking for a better one. I wish that HUGHES still made receivers. The H20 isn't responsive and seems slow. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better HD receiver. Something similar to an old HUGHES?

i think that is just a detail break-out for their services provided. one has to wonder if they are considering charging for HD locals since some people can't receive the OTA.
