thanks boba. There's been alot of high winds lately and I suspect the dish antenna may need some adjustment.

I'm having some artifacts and intermittent picture freezing problems. I checked the signal strength on 110 and 119 and the signal is > 99 in all cases except on transponders 5 and 7 on 119. Any reason why only 2 transponders would register around 55 and the rest of the transponders are above...

I use the Silver sensor, about 20 miles south of the xmitters in D.C. metro area and get all of the locals. I also added an amplifier from Ratshack and on good days I'm able to get a couple stations from Baltimore.

After initially getting stood up on 12/19, the installer says they will have an 811 today. edit - The Dish installer showed up w/ an 811 and I'm hooked up with ESPN HD, Discovery HD, etc.
