Same here. Locked up twice so far when switching between OTA DT channels. Rebooted itself and re-acquired signal automatically before I could even touch it. That's bad!!! I want my 2.81 back :(

You might need to call Dish and have them replace your 811. It sounds like your onboard memory has gone bad. I have seen the problem on the ones with 1010LABD firmware.

Anyone know the difference between the 811 Models with different Firmware LABB & LADD. Is one better than the other? Which one do you have? Thanks. Pheo
