You are probably trying to save a buck, but I would have a tech come out and install the receiver for you.

If the install is in a residential area or housing plan, I will usually do a one call and put down a non pen mount as a temporary mount. If I am in a rural area, then more than likely I will be putting that pole in the ground that day.

Depending on the location of the receiver and tv2 you could always try running a jumper from the antenna port on the back of the 722k. I remember one time when the customer had an old antenna sitting on top of his entertainment center that wasn't being used that I screwed into the antenna...
