So..basically, AT&T started out with IPTV (Uverse) but a few years back started pushing everyone to Directv because Uverse was a strain on the infrastructure (or something like that). Now, they are trying to push everyone back to Uverse (or something like it) instead of satellite?

I do because mainstream media typically tells one side of the story; it would be interesting to see how Russia perceives our current events.

Thanks. This is a standard receiver only, not a DVR. I was able to rename it to CUSTOM 1 but only in capital letters. Is there a lowercase option?

AT&T Uverse has EAS going off all the time. Yes, we have tornados in Georgia; we know that is part of Spring weather, but I get annoyed of the constant EAS interruptions when there is a tornado watch 50 miles away!
