I think they're just trying to make a future in all kind of aspects. They could of course focus on one or two things and get much further in just these things, but I actually like that they're this wide spread.
Are you talking about a Roku? Found one for $50 and it actually looks quiet interesting. It basically has the same features as Apple TV, without Apple's products support of course but also a lot cheaper. That's definitely something I'm going to look into.
I believe it's going to kill some channels, but I find it incredible weird that we can't choose what channels we'll pay for. This is the first time I've ever agreed to something John McCain have said.
Sadly I haven't picked up many games recently, I've bought Far Cry 3 and ARMA 3. It's probably because I'm playing EVE Online, and my time is already pretty limited.
I guess they're just working on making it smaller, faster and better quality. It's a very handy little device, but it's also pricey. Though of course it's pricey it's Apple!
Is there any other similar products on the market, that isn't so pricey?
Netflix is great though I think the content doesn't get updated that often, which is a very turn down for me. I find myself watching the same episodes all the time. I haven't tried other streaming services yet, so I can't really compare it to anything.
