Equipment for Peace TV on Galaxy 19

Thanks for checking everyone, I guess they either stopped broadcasting on G19 or they're having some technical issues right now or something.

    97W Gal19 Ku/3971/V/22000 <- What does it mean?

OK, set the correct frequency, cleared out the channel list, and did a new blind scan. All the frequencies look right now, and I got rid of a bunch of duplicate channels I had accidentally added with two scans before. Thanks for the info on the 0/12V thing. I appreciate all the help.

    97W Gal19 Ku/3971/V/22000 <- What does it mean?

Thanks, I figured I had done something wrong, and I wondered about that setting when I saw it. One last question on that setup screen, what does the 0/12V On/Off setting do?

IDK, on Lyngsat it's listed as this, shown in picture...

Nope, I think all the HughesNet's were the 0.74 Meter dish. It just had to be mounted a certain distance above ground because it transmitted and they didn't want people getting in front of it. (RF Radiation Danger) During the pointing procedure it would only turn on the transmitter once you...

    97W Gal19 Ku/3971/V/22000 <- What does it mean?

This is what my Amiko Mini HD RE says in the info when I tune to Peace TV, 97W Gal19 Ku/3971/V/22000, but what does that mean? I know the 97W Gal19 Ku means my dish is pointed at Galaxy 19, which is 97 degrees West, and Ku Band. My main question is what does the 3971 mean? It should be down...

    First Signal

Mine works, it's aimed at Galaxy 19, 97 West, and I'm in southeastern Oklahoma. G19 is 184 degrees azimuth, 50 degrees elevation, and -2 degrees on the LNB, if I remember correctly, for my location. Those pictures show the dish aimed at 97 West from where I am located. HughesNet 6000 and 7000...

I can tell you, from installing satellite systems for almost 14 years, that having a good, stable, and plumb mount are the keys to getting a satellite dish aimed easily and correctly. I recently aimed my first GEOSATPro 36", which looks like what you have. The elevation was a little hard to...

GEOSATPro 36" on 2" OD Mount

You know I actually started to snap some with the phone, but I didn't. But anyway, it works and it's stable, that's what is important.

Equipment for Peace TV on Galaxy 19

I'm getting a lot of channels, but not Peace TV, the blind scan identified both the English and Urdu versions twice, the settings were the same except one was Vertical and one Horizontal. The website for Peace TV (http://peacetv.tv/en-gb/how-to-tune-into-peace-tv) identified it as Vertical...

GEOSATPro 36" came in today, fashioned an adapter for the pole this morning, and put it together and aimed it as soon as Fedex dropped it off. The dish came with an LNB, but I already had the LNB from www.nc-electronics.com unboxed, so I just used it. My satellite meter worked very well for...

GEOSATPro 36" on 2" OD Mount

I managed to bust up and remove enough of the cement from the top end of the pole. Then I bolted a 1 5/8" pipe on the side, which turned out sturdy and worked out well. Anyway it's all installed and working now. I still have the 2" adapter for the pole if I ever want to put a larger dish on...

GEOSATPro 36" on 2" OD Mount

Sorry, I wasn't clear, it's a 2 3/8" OD chain link fence post filled with concrete. It had a 2 3/8" to 2" adapter on top for the WildBlue dish. But I had filled the 2 3/8 with cement because it was just chain link fence grade. Anyway, it's a mess, but the coax is all good as I connected it...

GEOSATPro 36" on 2" OD Mount

Yeah, but 2" pipe is filled with concrete, was for a WildBlue, installer didn't have right pole, so I filled it with concrete to make it more stable. I may just rip it up and put in a new pole.
