Apparently you might need to keep the drive plugged in when you reboot. I unplugged and then rebooted and plugged back in after the reboot and it still said unsupported. I rebooted again with it plugged in and it recognized the drive and formatted.

So if the lease fee is included with the package price for one promotion, if you purchase a 622 or other HD unit you shouldn't have to pay the lease fee so the package price should be less? There is definitely not a lot of consistency with the details on the various promotions.

If it's true that LIL is MPEG4 (which it would appear to be) than I too am anxiously awaiting a comparison of the size of the recording. Only problem is that depending on the device's estimation may not be a very accurate report without filling up the HD see how far you can get?!?
