Events to record didnt fire? I setup some recurring events for recording and the first one didnt fire last night. I setup a "season pass" for K-Ville and while it showed up in the to-do list, it never recorded. Anybody else seeing anything like this? Im at the 0x19a firmware from this...

Ack... now I hit On Demand and I get "1000 (DTV is currently not available".. dang it

I just enabled VOD and waited about 5 minutes and then checked for Channel 1000 and it was there. When I hit On Demand in the Menu, it just says Acquiring Guide Data so I am assuming it is downloading stuff in the background. All goodness! Now I just have to wait to see if everything works here!

I got home tonight to a frozen HDTivo. Unplugged it, waited, plugged it back in and it booted fine. However the Guide wouldnt come up, The DirecTV window wouldnt come up, fast forward and rewind were SLOW to respond and just now it rebooted itself. The only other thing I noticed lately is...

I would have to agree. My PQ on a 65" Sony is a LOT better on D* than it was on E*. Im patiently waiting for my Pre-Order HD Tivo to be shipped and then I plan on having HD added to my package. I switched since E* was dropping the ball on everything as well and it appears that they continue...
