Sorry for replying to old thread, but are the international channels going mpeg4, the reason I ask is they either Dish/SPTV have beeen using the HD feed for SPRT sd and it's always been letterbox and it's worse when they blackbars on the side. If they were to convert to Mpeg4 could they convert...

I wish they would make their mind up on the internationals channels, a few years back they moved them to 61.5, and they took the superdish, now today they want to put back the superdish.

Nobody will pay for it when it stream for free on the net and better quality.

Since I'm on vacation and my Slingboxs havent worked since the outage, where the international channels (portuguese) removed from 61.5 or were thoses duplicates?

Maybe I flipped the free preview switch while in the stadium studio yesterday LOL

Anyone know what's up wih international channels I thought the would mirror them on both 61.5 for eastcoast, and 118.7 for westcoast. They added a channel last week but only on 118.7, that's no good if your on eastern arc

Yup I wonder how long before teams start adding their team channel full time here. This is the 1st one with Dish coming in July full time BenficaTV. It will be SD so it takes up less space no need for HD for now. Canal televisivo chega aos EUA no verão - Benfica - Jornal Record - O melhor do...

On a side note SL Benfica's channel BenficaTV will be the first football team to have a full time channel in the US, launching this July on Dishnetwork part of the Luso Pak, or can be subscribes on it's own. It will be the SD channel only the HD will not be available to the US.

Nobody should be complaining these are almost the same people who do weekly EPL games seen here in the US.

They will be HD, UEFA mandates that all their competitions are done in HD, the problem is nobody carries FSC Plus in HD yet so only the games on FSC HD are HD, so after the Manu game they will replay the Real game in HD FSC HD ...2:45pm Manchester United v AC Milan **LIVE** FSC Plus HD...

There is also news of the 9.99-14.99 fee going away for FS+ and just being added to the sports package at the end of the season some time this summer. Of course this is through another provider Comcast not Dish, but it would be good for Dish subs too if they did the same thing.

Is the 411 also able to DVR like the 211? If yes, after paying the 39.99 fee is there a monthly DVR also. I only get a few channels now from Dish locals + portuguese pack (sports packages for NHL), but still want to be able to DVR.

I'm guessing FSC+ HD will be in phase2? They must have a deal in place to get both up.
