If you have H21s, then there is no second tuner, thus no need for a second line. A SWM won't do you any good in this case as your already using a single line to each box. Now, if you have HR2xs, then that is a different story.

You keep talking about the HR2xDVR, this review and thread IS NOT about a DVR. The H2x never had the light ring and most likely never will.

I'm going by the information that is outlined in the SWM training materials from DirecTv. So, it is what it is. A disclaimer would be a good idea.

FWIW, I don't think the diplexing part should have been included as it's not supported by DirecTv. Could cause some folks some headaches down the road.

Yes. As already acknowledged, the 5 channel when its an 8 channel Saying BBC converters is like saying "B-Band Converter converters" Also, BBCs are also needed on the R22 in some markets for local channels that are provided by D10 and soon D11. While the upper end is mentioned...
