    Did I just get screwed?

Really? A bridge goes from one side of a river to the other. In otherwords, you got screwed, taken, bamboozled, hoodwinked, ripped off, etc.

DirecTV installer: Won't run line using flat coax coupler

Recently had the pleasure of going to a customers appartment to replace the flat cables. I didn't do the job for other reasons. Can't go into here. :) Anyway, we have 12 workorders from DirecTv and who knows how many internal ones since April for this guy. Why? Because he continues to slam...

Recent DTV install but no Single wire solution!

If you have H21s, then there is no second tuner, thus no need for a second line. A SWM won't do you any good in this case as your already using a single line to each box. Now, if you have HR2xs, then that is a different story.

New Receiver: H23 (UPDATE: Now with Pictures)

You keep talking about the HR2xDVR, this review and thread IS NOT about a DVR. The H2x never had the light ring and most likely never will.

SatelliteGuys Premiere Review: The DirecTV SWM LNB

I'm going by the information that is outlined in the SWM training materials from DirecTv. So, it is what it is. A disclaimer would be a good idea.

SatelliteGuys Premiere Review: The DirecTV SWM LNB

FWIW, I don't think the diplexing part should have been included as it's not supported by DirecTv. Could cause some folks some headaches down the road.

Actuall surprised they aren't gone already. :p I am dissapointed at the name calling that has gone on. Morons, idiots, trolls, heads up asses, etc. Nice way to be professional.

Glad to see that seemingly been resolved to your satisfaction. But I'm still a little confused. In post #132 you say: But back in post #81 you said: Bob appears to think that getting a review looked over means you have your head up someones backside: Post #106 So what is it...

This thread would have NEVER been started over at DBSTalk. Sometimes the anything goes mantra can make one look classless. Was wondering how long it would take to get labled a troll. Guess, disenting opinions arn't really welcome here in the "anything goes" world.

Yes. As already acknowledged, the 5 channel when its an 8 channel Saying BBC converters is like saying "B-Band Converter converters" Also, BBCs are also needed on the R22 in some markets for local channels that are provided by D10 and soon D11. While the upper end is mentioned...
