I see only one plot hole from the finale, but loved every minute of it. and for the future:

The academy show seems like it is a discovery spin off, given the line about after being closed for 92 years Starfleet academy is reopening. Meh.. i want a show with worf, seven, and maybe Rafi (but only Because I don’t see them doing it without her).

Other than we are all going to die, I absolutely loved this: Worf: “Let us continue our search. But tread lightly, we will not be prey, we will be friendly energy.” Riker, shaking his head: “I don’t understand the world anymore.” Yeah, I feel ya Will! :)

They don't. ;). This episode is fantastic and resolves a lot of the things we've been waiting for! A great epsiode with plenty of "feels"

I was so excited to see "Ensign Ro" - and that was a powerful episode. I just wish we could zap away the 10 episodes of season 2 (or at least five of them) and add them to this season. Terry Matalas is my hero - for finally giving us the Picard series we deserved.

I thought the same thing, about holodeck power, but given how good this season has been, I gave them a pass.

Lucky it lasted to season 2 given it's horrible first season. I still can't stand that damn spore drive. But it introduced us to the SNW cast, so that is it's best gift to the Star Trek world. And I was hopeful the refresh 1000 year sin the future would give it freedom from canon and...

Discovery didn't even start filming until June. I would not be surprised if it comes after SNW, which was filmed last year. I also think the long delay for Discovery might be signs it is the end of its run. Just a guess, but I don't think 18 month gaps ever help a show. The last season...
