advanced tech wont matter with your bill...all advanced tech means is training to troubleshoot hd receivers..thats it. adv tech is so high in queue because of lazy initial csr's sending to advanced tech for crap that should be handled by their supervisor..ask for their sup, you'll probably get...

you could always in the future upgrade the switch outside to a dpp44, it can use a single line for dual tuners. 1 cable from switch to receiver, then uses a seperater to run to both sat in connections of the receiver. dish doesnt supply these right now, in most situations anyway

dish can schedule a disconnect date, so you'd have service until you want it turned off. As far as returning the equipment, you just really need the lnb and switches, the dish part itself you can trash

Wouldnt it be possible for the 921, and 811 for that matter, to support MPEG4 also? Its really just a different codec that it uses to view the stream. I wouldnt see why it would be impossible for the receivers to just be sent this codec
