I have experienced taking refuge under my school desk in case of nuclear attack drills, the coronation of Queen Elizabeth broadcast live on tv via ships relaying the signal across the Atlantic, presidential assassination, Viet Nam, the first day of communication satellites being used to transmit tv signals, landing on the moon, and the advent of home computers and the internet. I have lived from a time when personal privacy was not being assaulted by technology to a time where I could not get lost if I tried. I have survived to the age of information, and still have enough left to be able to reflect a little on what, if anything, it all means.
