It was a 4 port Cisco switch that I had gotten from Walmart to allow the single ethernet connection to service several components. (not sure of the model) I replaced the switch with a wireless access point for all components except my 922. I wired the 922 direct to my main router.

This box is a big improvement! I started with Dish about a month ago with a 722. Yesterday morning I called to inquire about upgrading to the 922. At first she was not aware that they were available, then after some checking, she set me up. The guys came and installed it yesterday afternoon...

I just ordered mine! Great thing to get on my birthday! The woman at dish at first said they were not released yet....I had to tell her that Satelliteguys said they were available and then after some 5 minutes of looking, she discovered that they were in fact available.

I am a bit confused by the Dual-Tuner/Single mode description..... Can I still watch one show while recording another? (all on one TV in one room?)

Maybe I'm spoiled.... I am an IT professional and may have heightened expectations. Or maybe it is because I know what can/should be available and am confused as to the apparent lack of investment. Judging from the dates of some of the posts on this subject, customers have been looking for more...
