    I had the Motorola 6412 installed on Sat. I have component running from the 6412 to my receiver, which runs to my DVD and then back to my HDTV. The quality of the analogue channels is not good.     Thanks, Ilya. Unfortunatley, I'm clueless trying to understand the electronics and connections. All I know is that Voom ends the 30th,therefore, I 'm going to Comcast. I had "D" before Voom, total waste.

    I'm switching to Comcast on the 30th, therefore, when Comcast arrives for install, is it as simple as switching the existing cables form Voom into their box, and then I can switch back to see whether I may or may not be receiving a signal?

    What area are you in? Evertime I call Comcast, I get different deals and rates. However, they do insist on having to give them my latest voom bill, letter of cancellation or a voom receiver inorder to get a year discounted rate.

    Leaning towards comcast since no committment is necessary, plus they provide the necessary equipment, HD, DVR, at a small monthly leasing fee. However, I haven't set up the appointment. Hoping something new and different arrivesin the next week. Wishful thinking

    Thanks, the way I have or soon to be had Voom set up was as follows: 3 receivers for 3 tv's, fourth tv (bedroom) running off the main tv. i had purchased these cone shaped things (i forgot what they are called) which allow you to to place one on top of one tv, the other on a second tv allowed...

    Sorry about that, I'm trying to figure out how to optimize comcast for the least price. I guess the answer is that the second TV would receive basic cable channels if it were running off the 1st TV which I would set up with a HD box

    V sd was very good. D was ok, although the receiver i bought for hd was horrible.
