Again with the profile 1 and 2 crap. I received a free PS3 about 6 weeks ago and used the the internet connection twice. Once to see if it worked and the second to show someone. that was the only times Ive used features the profile 1 and 2 provide. I would say most people really dont care about...

where are you getting this information? Walmart has the sony bdp-s300 for $378 and sonys web site has it for $399 retail price with free shipping. How is the sony player selling for above retail? Also amazon 3/19 price is $369 free shipping.

Where did you get your stats? Ive owned 2 65"HDTV since 2000 and neither have been 720P.

Wait for the HD-DVD fire sell to end then see what the numbers are. I'd buy a HD-DVD player to if i was just looking for a DVD player. About the same price as a good DVD player and i'd get 3 movies free. Most people wouldnt pass that up.

I have a slimline dish and a HR20 box. I'm getting pixel drop on a few channels. The picture comes in fine on all channels but a few have this problem. Last night it was HDnet, Discovery HD and HBOHD. this happens about every 30 to 60 second part of the picture and sound drop Sat info...
