Understood - Redzone is only in multi-sport pack. What I'm asking is if anyone knows if the promo of 120+ with multi-sport included for 'free' (as indicated on their home page) is a promo for new subscribers only or have any existing subscribers been able to take advantage of this?

4+ years for the Hopper. 1 month for the Joey. Just re-upped with another 2 year promo and a price lock.

this is a newbie question, despite me being a Dish customer for 20+ years..... My set-up is simple. one Hopper and one Joey. Should I look into buying my own equipment? Are there any advantages to owning, instead of 'leasing' from Dish, since (I believe) they charge a service fee either way?

That's the number I called last night and had no problem - call was even answered in under a minute. Of course, it could have been that 8pm was the perfect time to call, but it was answered right away by a guy who identified himself as a senior Rep.

What does the Welcome Pack run these days? It's getting harder to justify even the Flex Pack when most of those channels can be found on Philo for $20.

Any idea if you can occasionally add bundles to the Welcome Pack, like you can with the Flex Pack? (for example, I'll add the National Action add-on when ESPN has a game of interest to me, then drop that package a week later).

EA, yes. I'll try those channels when I get home, but we did do a lot of trouble shooting back in February. I didn't feel like following up on it then because I knew I'd be dropping the package once the Sox were done with preseason ball. Now they're in the playoffs and I need NESN :)

Thanks - it's was a mystery then and still is now - why NESN disappeared from my channel guide. It was there last fall at 412-24, but disappeared in Jannuary/February. And when I type in 412-24 to try and get to it directly, it goes straight to 412-22 (MASN).

I could have swore I watched some Celtics programming last winter - but I digress. I'm more interested in figuring out what happened to NESN because I'm much more of a Red Sox fan :)
