When are they gonna release it? I have a 4K TV now. If they are gonna release it soon I may finally take the plunge to Direct. Have always hate the contract thing.... stupid I know but it bugs me. :) Comcast supposedly has a new X1 4K box coming in the near future, so we'll see wins the race!

I havr the X1 satellite box in my bedroom and it allows me to do 1080P at 60hz. Try looking again and see what it gives you. If not, pure speculation on my part, maybe your TV only goes to 1080i or not supported in your area? I'm in Seattle. Hope that helps!

There are 3 markets that I know for sure that you can access Xfinity on-demand though the Tivo. Those are Seattle, Boston, and San Francisco. More are coming but not sure when. How do they like it?
