After replacing receiver, can no longer "see" NBA League Pass channels

They said a few times they were doing something like that, but obviously didn't help. It was just a simple problem of the pay per view not being activated on the new receiver. When I activated the new receiver over the phone, I even warned the guy that "every time I change receivers, my...

After replacing receiver, can no longer "see" NBA League Pass channels

Advanced tech support immediately told me that the problem was that the league pass subscription was not activated on the new receiver, just like every other time I upgraded or replaced. Apparently you cannot 'see' the rest of the channels if you are not subscribed. A technician spent 3.5...

After replacing receiver, can no longer "see" NBA League Pass channels

The HD on my 722 went bad and the DVR stopped working; replacement 722 arrived this morning. Had some issues with the activation, but my standard programming is working ok now. But, I subscribe to NBA League Pass and can no longer even see the channels (560-572, 9560-9572, I believe.) A...

    Dish Remote Access / Sling

I went ahead and told to add a slingbox and put in the finder ID, but I think it was there already; But now I see that "Watch on Web" is there - but it is only there as a drop down box if you hit the arrow next to "Watch on TV."

    Dish Remote Access / Sling

Oh! In that case, I don't have it set up right either! But all it is doing is basically launching a webbased version of slingplayer, right? It's still just switching the channel on the TV since it's still hooked up to the slingplayer through the same outputs it's always been. I'm on...

I am confused about Turbo HD Programming

I don't even get the purpose of the SD channels. I guess watching the HD on a regular TV squeezes them a little bit, but I don't really mind on my 2nd TV. I guess the whole thing is just that Turbo HD isn't really what it is billed to be; rather than being HD only it's actually a scaled down...

Any way to remotely wake up a 722 (maybe with a timer?)

I tried the auto tune function and it worked on my unit. Thanks for the help everyone! Unfortunately thanks to a pathetic performance by Boston I will have to use this functionality to watch a game 7 Sunday!

    Dish Remote Access / Sling

Isn't play on TV the same thing as play on PC????? If you choose play on TV the slingbox will then transmit it just like anything else and you can watch in the computer, right?

Any way to remotely wake up a 722 (maybe with a timer?)

Hmm, no option for external timer on mine, looks like it needs to be enabled somehow from what I googled.

Any way to remotely wake up a 722 (maybe with a timer?)

Arghhh, just after a little googling made me think the auto tune could work!! I really hate to move the IR blasters and lose the functionality for the other receiver. I wonder if there is anywhere I could put them where they could reach both receivers somehow; seems unlikely. Maybe I...

Any way to remotely wake up a 722 (maybe with a timer?)

I had hoped the remote access feature would allow this, but unfortunately it does not. I'm using secondary inputs on the slingbox to watch the 722; I use other inputs for different receiver and use the IR blaster for DISH. So if I get the unit out of sleep mode ahead of time, I can watch by...

    Dish Remote Access / Sling

Ah - so this doesn't really add anything at all if you have a slingbox already. It would be very useful for me if you could just wake the darn thing up with the remote access since I use the IR blasters on another unit. Does anyone know any trick to tell the unit to come out of sleep mode at...

    Dish Remote Access / Sling

With remote access you can program and play things from the DVR. With the slingbox you can watch the TV and change channels using the IR blaster that comes with the slingbox. With remote access you can change channels, but you still have to wake up the unit with the slingbox IR blasters - so...

WOW! Just noticed the new DISH Remote Access Feature

Support wrote back and said there is no way to remotely wake up the unit. That makes the whole part about being able to remotely change the channel COMPLETELY POINTLESS; because everything it does can already be done via the IR blaster of the slingbox; since the IR blaster is needed anyway...

    Watch TV Using SlingGuide?

I was excited to hear about the remote access, simply because I thought it would be a way to control the unit without an IR blaster. But is there a way to get the unit out of sleep mode?? Without that functionality, the IR blaster is still needed to watch the unit and the remote access is...
