Theoretically, it's possible. As long as the antenna can see both satellites(Voom's and Dish's), and if there aren't any bandpass filters on the antenna, it should be capable of recieved the frequency range for both services. I don't know what range either operates in, or if they are that...

Ok, I haven't seen a signal meter. I'm getting my first sat install on monday. But I'm just curious, what do the signal meters look for? Are they tuned to a certain frequency(like a beacon freq)? Or do they just average the strength they get from a freq range? Or something else entirely...

I can just go to work and type in a lat/long, and it will give me all the angles needed. One of the advantages of working at a satellite communications control center. :D

That's fine by me. Leaves more space on the satty for them to put other channels in HD. I'm plenty close that I shouldn't have any problems getting in the HD stations.
