Thanks Scott for giving us the latest news from Dish. I was about to get the HWS when Dish offered me a free upgrade about 3 weeks ago but I knew dish would likely have something new for CES. Sounds like the Hopper 3 is what I need. Please cut me a little slack since I have not been keeping up...

Thanks for the info RandallA, my ViP 622 has had OTA audio problems since I got L4.46. E needs to either roll back to the last stable version or get version L4.47 out the door fast. Knowing E I would rather go with a roll back. Let's hope L4.47 is better than L4.46

Same here. I'm using component video out on TV 1 and I now have sound drop-outs on recorded shows. Have not tried the optical output yet
