I wouldn't call it overheating. My 622 sits on a shelf with open sides and 3 inches open above as well. Also, its cold outside here and I keep my heat at or under 70 degrees. The problem may manifest itself as the unit WARMS up but it is clearly a faulty unit.

I didn't watch tv for about 2 days. I turned it on today and the static on TV2 went away. If it comes back I'll post again.

I rebooted last night but the problem still persists. I know its not the TV2, I hooked up an antenna and got NTSC OTA and the sound was fine. This 622 has been flakey, I think I will call in and try and get it replaced.

If you didn't have a strong signal on 129 at the time you recorded it, then the programs in the DVR are still going to have pixelation and audio dropouts. Watching live TV are you still having problems after the dish was realigned?
