Ha, it is Dish we're talking about. Then again I never thought they would come out with a DVR as good as the Hopper either.

I'm fine with that argument. Just don't make it about one person. That said, I don't see where Dish is going to be able to clear out bandwidth for 4K.

No offense but don't the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few? Find a way that Dish can clear up satellite bandwidth for 4K services in a world of content delivery that is rapidly changing and you could have a point.

This is why I hope Dish could eventually transition to HEVC. That cuts down the bandwidth needed for full quality 1080p a lot. Dish could easily serve everyone with full quality 1080p HD if they could just get to HEVC transmission. That said there's still a lot of MPEG2 running on Western Arc...

I'm having the same issue on my HWS I just had installed a week ago.

I just went with the 2 HWS 2 Joey setup and I really like it. I just wish Dish would let us use all 6 tuners from one Hopper or Joey.

Are these really HD channels Dish needs? I'd love to see quality over quantity meaning HD channels that are less compressed and with higher PQ. The only ones I want would be the ESPN/Disney channels.
