GEOSATpro Just got the microhd today and about settings

I've never bothered playing with the Display Settings but for TV System I use 1080P and Auto. The Auto really works well on the microHD unlike other devices I own. Regards, Steve

Wow, that website was definitely made by an Engineer. :p Steve

    GEOSATpro Concert on AMC16

If you have an HD plasma scan this satellite right now...unless you are prone to epilepsy. I've never seen such a good video on my TV before. I'd like to know the bitrate if anybody can figure it out. Steve

    Need receiver reviews & updates

I would like to get reviews on Software now that I am getting into using my TBS6925 card. I'm currently using ProgDVB professional (professional is required to use a motor...) and it is taking time to figure out. The toughest thing was to figure out that us in the "New World" have to punch in...

    HDTV approved

Your receiver and your TV need to be HD, that's it. The labeling is designed to confuse and trick people who haven't studied before they go shopping. Cheers, Steve

GEOSATpro Upgraded To Latest Software, Now Can Not Receive Satellites 113W To 125W

Perhaps you did not set the motor up for some of your satellites. I'm just wrapping up scanning 24 ku satellites with the new firmware and it's going well. All I did was update the firmware, master reset, set video, add satellites, set satellites (USALS only, it's nice that they came pre-set...

    DVB-S2 Tuner Cards in Windows?

Hi again, I am pondering getting a tuner card for my HTPC and putting my MicroHD in the living room as the wife isn't fond of watching TV in the basement unless we are watching a movie. That being said, can I get the ease of use of the microHD in Windows with a Tuner card? If so, what would...

    SES 3

I have to wonder why they would wait until the dish is parked in position before applying to use it. My boss would eat me alive if I put something into orbit without permission to use it. Steve

How low power of a signal is worth chasing?

Thank you for the responses guys. I do have an FTA setup but local would be nice too. I will keep an eye on the two stations I've got for a while to see if anything worth upgrading the antenna pops up. If that happens I'll get an antenna decent enough to bring them in clearly. It would be...

How low power of a signal is worth chasing?

I've attached the link below, the far away signals are from Ottawa. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d1dda910694a2e6

    This is 40

At 2 hours long it got painful to watch and the reference to being a sequel of "knocked up" was not true at all. I'd say pass. Steve

How low power of a signal is worth chasing?

Hello, I punched my details into TVFool and I only have 4 channels available at -90dBm or better. I am able to see the -45 and -55 dBm analog channels with a amplified set-top antenna on the 2nd floor but the signal is not good at all. There are half a dozen channels between -115 and -125...

    GEOSATpro microHD Logitec Harmony Remotes

I bought a new TV so I figured I'd check up on the microHD and it is in the Logitech website now! You search for it under Satellites but it will install under the PVR heading. The remote codes work well and you can access the special buttons (reg/green/sat, etc.) via the screen display on the...

Opinions of which motor to buy

I would recommend the STAB HH90 over the 2100 any day, I sent my friend to get a STAB HH90 like mine but the dealer sent him back with a 2100. The 2100 looks like a Russian copy of a Japanese car built from a photo taken from space... Steve
