I have no problem with VOOM programming, and in fact very happy with what I got. But as I mentioned in one of my earlier post, the installer never ground the dish, and finally, lighting hit us... I am in a process that asking InstallInc. to pay for all the damage, and VOOM promised to help...

Chris, Thanks for the education. According to eyewitness when everything broke down, there was a loud noise outside the house and a orange flash. No sign that the lightning stroked the dish directly. It is possible it happened the way you descript. Thanks again.

IMO, only PlayboyHD worth $14.90/mo, VOOM won't sell its channels well (if sold separately). I will definitely drop VOOM if they do that.

Most installers will perfer to use your existing cable wires already build-in to your house, so that they only need to run the cable from the dish to the cable box on the outside wall of your house. I kept my regular cable with basic cable service as backup, and the cable modem for internet...
