I'd love some home-network awareness...ability to view pictures from home computer, play MP3s, etc. Connectivity to Picasa Web albums or Flickr would be even better.

Wow...I hope the Dish guy didn't wire your HD set that way. You never saw true HD until you switched to the HDMI cable. S-Video doesn't carry HD signal...the only way to get HD to your TV from your satellite receiver (or HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player, etc) is either Component cables or HDMI. S-video...

Same problems here...dropped out for a second, then was back. Happened about once a minute or more.

Can't remember where I saw this, but I've seen January 25th as the Go Live date. I think it was in a slideshow presentation broadcast for installers, maybe here on Satelliteguys.
