If you have an HD tuner built in to your TV yes you can. if not. you have to get a D* HD Tivo from D*. The D* sd will not work. its not HD.

Will the R10 or the HR10-250 be getting it too?

not sure what the install wad talking about putting the OTAcable on the dish? all you need to do is hook your indoor antanna one the back on the attanna in put. and for the other 2 inputs. those are for the sat. you need 2 so you can recorded 2 things at once. if i don't make sense some one else...

Thats one of the reasons I switched. There were to many show that i liked to watch in OTA HD that where on at the same time and could only recored one in HD. plus they had a few more channels that i wanted and i was with E* long enough.

Great. the less stuff he has to do, the more time I have to enjoy it. :)

sorry for not replying back. thank you for your help. I decided to go to my local best buy. looks like i even save more. i got the hd10 250 for 999.00 with a $50 rebate and another DVR for $99 and a $50 rebate. then i got a $150 gift card for having over a $999 purchase. so i'm happy with that. .

I'm looking to switch to D*. I'm look to get the HD DVR. Do they have a package for a 2 room setup? I'm just looking for 1 HD DVR and 1 standard, maybe a DVR too. Thank you.
