Try another CSR. There are three PVR/HD combos available in DHP. They require an extra $99 or a two year commitment. they are: 811/522 811/510/322 811/522/301 The roll out of the new DHP has been very confusing, but these options are listed in the latest info I have. Tim

I agree with TheaterWizard and would only add that Dish will pay for the DP adapters you need when you get the superdish upgrade.

Just like any new product there will be a supply problem at first as they ramp up the manufacturing process. While the 322's and 522's are in short supply DISH is going to use them as bait to hook new customers. From a corporate standpoint this makes sense - just look how their stock was...

I believe your two choices are (1) to run a second cable to your 2 tuner location or (2) wait for the DP44+ switch coming next year, which will have the ability to "stack" the signal for 2 tuners on one cable.

I believe there is a supply problem, and they are prioritizing cities with SuperDISH locals. A whole truck load was delivered in Albany, NY today - all sold before they hit the ground. Tim

You're right. Apparently the extra wide dish is necessary to more sharply focus the lower power signal and to isolate it from possible interfering satellites which in FSS are only separated by 2 degrees (vs. 9 degrees for DBS)

According to Dish Network fact sheet - the Super Dish antenna is "just over 20" high x just under 36"wide."

Won't there be a DP 34 switch between the Superdish and the receiver? (Three cables into switch from each LNB and two cables out to the 522)

I think the upcoming 44 switch will not require the DP adapter to work with legacy receivers.

Apparently not. This was something I hoped for, but I was told that the KuFSS LNB has to be located at the sweet spot centered on the feed arm in order to keep the dish as small as possible. The lower power requires it.
