    Oh I see. I have Time Warner as well, was going to get rid of it for Dish. I get all the locals and NBC with TW. The only reason I had TW was for the MLB package. Now I might as well get rid of Dish. Does DirecTV have the locals and NBC in HD? I'm a basic guy who watches Sports and TV shows...

    I'm thinking of moving to Alabama. I'm a die-hard NY sports fan and quite honestly this could influence my decision. My question is will I be able to get SNY, YES, and MSG if I move down their?

    Damn, I missed it. I usually see the commercials for the free previews but they didn't show it this time. they did the same thing with the NBA free preview. I was looking forward to this, I thought they usually do it after the ALL-Star break.

    Does anyone know now if DirecTV has plans for WGN HD? I see WGN launched their HD service a few months ago, but I don't have it yet, although I'm in NYC, so don't know if thats an issue.

    CW11 (WPIX) and MY9 (WWOR) in HD?

    I'm saying they don't. All the other local channels are in HD, except CW and MY 9. I do have Direct TV and maybe they don't broadcast it, but I doubt that's possible 'cause I never hear of the news or any other shows saying in HD.
