Last year I moved down to the Family Plan, and MLB Network was still there, I assumed it was because of EI, A few days after the season ended MLB Network was gone. Just checked yesterday and I have it back. That's a huge plus if they can be more competitive with the price.

Since they gave away Sunday Ticket for free last fall (I didn't do that offer) I would hope they will offer something similar through retention for MLB.

I am tempted to cut EI for MLB.tv. But last season on all the free preview games on MLB.tv I tried through my Roku there was heavy pixelation anytime the ball was put in play. In addition the pitchers arm was blurry during a pitch. I wonder if your experience is more because of the off-season...

We'd go completely without cable or satellite if we could get locals OTA. But the mountains here prevent any signal. Our choice right now is basic cable (locals in HD via QAM tuner, and TBS) @$23.95 or the DTV Family Pack @24.99 +HD +DVR +2 additional receivers = $53.
