Hello Dish guys, Well it is over a month since I ordered my sling adapter and I still don't see anything on my online account about a rebate. I do see that the adapters are now down to $30. Also, my USB network adapter is pretty much worthless any chance that I can swap it for a wired one?

I ordered it with a CSR and made sure I he understood I was going with the rebate. Mentioned it like a 1/2 dozen times.

Anyone else having a problem where you can't record on two OTA channels? I had a case the other day where I wanted to record 4 events. 2 on the Sat tuners and 2 on the OTA and I didn't get one of the OTA feeds. Edit: Forgot to say, I have a 722k.

I do think it is funny that the same people that own their equipment....that want to pay less then the leased receiver guys...are also the same people that want the receiver replaced for free if they break down...

Dish leases because the average person can't afford to drop 400-600 down to set up a 4 rm set up on their own. The only reason for the lease is so Dish can recupe the upfront cost for the receivers, dish/LNB and installation. Even then, it typically takes more the 24mths to actually pay off...

If your locals are on 129, I seriously doubt they would set you up with an EA dish. Too much hassle to set up 2 dishes, when 1 will work fine for your service.

You need to be on Dish DVR Advantage program to get the free tv2 connection fee on the 1st rcvr. Typically, you will only see that on new customers or when you do an upgrade because it requires a 24mth commitment.
