    Samsung SIR-TS160

    I like it. I mean its old, but free OTA box. The OTA reception is good enough for me to get all my San Diego locals with an indoor antenna. My favorite feature is the INFO-> Show Times. Dislikes: No native SD, its 1080i or nothing in my case. The games are stupid

    NBC sports HD

    you gotta complain to NBC, they haven't figured out how to do HD Sports, I wish the NFL stuck with CBS and ABC :(

    H20 = J-u-n-k

    nah better for D*, make them so they fail every year and you have to sign up for another 24 monthes, keep that money rollin. Good strategy to make sub par equipment.

    Cable TV plus HD OTA through RF in?

    I do it all the time with a SAMSUNG SIR-TS160. It has 3 inputs, one for cable, one for Directv, and a seperate one for antenna. They all show up in the guide (analog cable has no data of course).

    Rsn And Nesnhd Alert!!!!! OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE!

    does this mean I can FINALLY watch the Padres in HD down here in San Diego, at least away games. Totally unfair how the Padres / COX treat the tax payers that paid for the stadium downtown and bankrupted the city in the process.

    I got a waiver no problem in San Diego for the LA NBC station. Its the only owned and operated local here.

    Bad NFL picture

    yep, its true. You guys remember NBC's attempt at the USC-Notre Dame game last year. Uck. Their equipment is awful for sports, too many artifacts. Add D*'s limited bandwith and it only goes down. Hopefully they will do some HD equipment upgrades down at NBC soon.

    HR20 - Release in August (LA to be the first)

    "Everything DirecTV has said indicates they want high-end subscribers. High-end doesn't mean DVR, it means HD. They're clearly at a competitive disadvantage and have been for a while. " High end subscribers like myself do not want HD Lite anymore, I gave Directv enough chances to get it...
