So what is going to take over channels that move from lets say channel 55 to channel 210 Digital? A channel that is still analog will take over? This is going to suck when it's February 2009 for alot of people, I guess it is time to get a new TV and get a cable box. Not that I am unhappy...

Finaly more channels are being added ESPN 2 HD, Starz HD, A&E HD, Cinemax HD, Discovery Famalia, CSTV and alot of channels moving to Digital what I do not get is when they saying moving to digital does that mean I will no longer have it without the cable box? It is going to be very intresting...

No one has answered me, is there ever a way to find if Charter Communications in my area would be adding a new channel ahead of time.

Probably will have glitches, I will save right now and just watch the DVDs I have and than a year or 2 later I will buy HD DVD or Blue Ray DVDs. Than again I bet Something new will come out again probably with higher Resolution which this goes up to 1920p I bet there will be higher ones uhhh!

Yes correct they will stay the same but the channel 1-99 will go dgital I have not gotten my bill saying that in Glendale, CA oh who knows, the mandate was 2006 who knows they will probably push it back to 2007!

When I went to advance and did that my box went dead for 10 mins Why? I got so scared when it went to 720P and than to 480i than after 10 mins. I was back able to get to the menu went advance and put 1080i and 16X9 How stupid was I to screw with that did my TV get screwed up? Im so so Scared...

thanks for welcoming and yes 8300 also when my TV was left on and my box was turned of I held select than I klicked on - Volume and I got 720 P when plus volume you get 1080i than I klicked on the + channel on the box I got 480i and + channel on the box I got 480p but I put it back to 1080i did...
