My friend has a Dish 1000 dish, he installed a linear LNB. He tried for about 4 hours and could not get a signal. Will this dish not work? Or is he doing something wrong LOL. I tested his receiver on my setup, and it is configured correctly. Thanks.

My friends is a Samsonic BS-7100 Plus. I also use a Dishnet 301 converted to a Pansat 2500, this one also has problems. Picture works a few seconds, then freezes, then on this one a msg pops up "Retrieving Channel Data". I actually just ordered a Sonicview 360 Premier to replace this DN 301...
