Heads up guys... The D* R15 does not require a phone line for activation or continual use. Didn't see anyone mention it so I thought I'd bring it up for continuity.

Just got of the phone with a very pleasant CSR who gave me an R-15 DVR for the exact same offer. So, that will make on R-10 in the living room and an R-15 in the bedroom. The wife should be pleased that we can ease up some of the program conflicts now.

ZINWELL 6x8 MULTISWITCH FOR DIRECTV SAM-6802 I believe I found my solution. With this switch I can tie in the 3 LNB dish for HD service as well as a separate dish at Sat 72.5 for my locals. I'm getting there, yeah!
