Yes, I did forgot to mention that series does have 4 tuners AND w/ a optional 'Mini' you can have a DVR in another room using one of those tuners as a stand-alone device as long as you have a Cat 5/6 cable connection to/from the Mini. I have two of them.

Scripps News shutting down OTA 'after' November 15th

Scripps News was my go to, default channel I had my 'tuners' parked on. Their news was factual and not cheap opinion based like 4 'other' so-called 'news' stations that were all extremists hate filled opinions. Not just opinion, it's fact ! AFAIC, is dead in the water. The Golden Age of HDTV...

    New Construction Attic Antenna Concerns

I wouldn't live anywhere that didn't have a full basement or a full attic, NOT a useless 'crawl space' that doesn't have a full stairs thru a actual door. BTW, antennas are beautiful things !!!

To update the above, I don't like monopolies, ESPECIALLY when they own almost all the patents to a specific device, in this case DVR's. Which is why there aren't any other true one piece (all in one)TV DVR's available new anymore. Note I stated "all in one". All the others , you need one or more...

I have 'time-shifted' ever since 1978. I wouldn't be w/o it. From VHS, S-VHS, then HDD's starting with the DVR Sony had before they dropped the Guide, basically making that useless. I did have a CATV DVR for a very short period of time, but I didn't like not having the ability to bypass/lockout...

How many 'tuners (TV's DVR's etc) do you have in your system? Try another location.

Not to get too far OT, the price difference between the Roamio OTA and the Premier version is over 2x between the two. There is a Premier going for $70 w/ service now, which is insane, making it a 'steal'! There are 3 OTA Roamio's w/ service going for around $350 now. The CATV version of the...

Interesting, I was wondering exactly what those letters meant, thou some time back I vaguely remember something about them. Have you tried directly transferring them via Ethernet w/o that program? If you know the address of the TiVo (I always set it to static in my Network for everything so I...

Are you sure about not being able to xfer recordings from a Premier to a PC? I would swear that I did when I had one. :imshocked And yes, the Series 3HD did have their best tuner over all the ones to follow, due to handling multipath issues better.

I have seen little difference between any TiVo I've had and any other 'tuner' (TV or otherwise) AFA number of channels they receive over the years. Probably/ possibly THAT specific unit or just the Bolt series, which I wouldn't touch in the first place, especially with that ridiculous design. .

I've owned and setup Tivo's for others for over 15 years and everyone I bought was used! That is inspite of the fact I have little good to say about the company and less with the company that bought them out a few years ago with all of their patents (which is why there are no other true "DVR's"...

AFA ATSC3; that is as dead as analog TV. It's the "AM Stereo" of the 21st century !
