    I just want to add that affiliates of VMC are just that. They are a private entity selling the DISH for commission and are responsible for their own actions. VMC does not condone any wrongful actions taken by their affiliates. On many occasions they are not aware of what some affiliates do...

    Maybe not the name....? Maybe not the name VOOM, but what else is there? It's like taking someones vital organs, and just leaving the body there...what good is it. VOOM will be gone, and Echostar will enhance their services with VOOM's primary assets.

    Have you read updated news, there is no joint venture. Echostar is purchasing all of VOOM's assets. For now they are working together until the transition period is over. Echostar will own VOOM. This is from a cablevision press release...so what is the problem with the story...nothing misleading...
