ok guys, I'm getting all HD channels and the picture is awesome (1080) I love this HD stuff. Even though these guys from eBay sent me a bad dish they did overnigt me another with no questions asked so the service was great on their part, it took me 5 minutes to get signal and 2 more to fine...

ok, from reading a little more I think I should only worry about 103(c) and 99(c) for the HR series. Am I correct, I'm getting signal on all transponders on those 2 in the 80's so I'll now complete my set up and see if all channels come in Eddy

ok guys, some quick help please. Am I suppose to get signal on all tranponders on 99(s) or will just a few do the job? I got siganl on all in 99(c) but 99(s) has mostly 0's but the ones with signal are in the 90's which are 1, 3 and 5 only Same question and scenario 103(s) and 103(c) except...

The guys from ebay have overnight me another dish so I'll update when it shows up tomorrow. I'm very curious to see if it is the dish or I'm just not doing it right. But I would think that if my lnb was good I would at leat get 101 on the high 90's like I did on my oval, we'll see. Eddy

ok guys, I have tried getting a good signal with no luck....since I bought this dish from ebay I think that it is a bad one, I can only get 101 in the high 50's and that is it. I guess my best bet is to get a brand new dish from Directv or a website I can trust, any suggestions? or just pay...

Sorry, I have a HR21 DVR Plus. I'm running a second line from the dish directly to the second imput on the DVR and will update soon. Thank you for taking the time to help me...very much appreciated:) Eddy

It is a slimeline 5, I just checked. what I do not know now is wheter or not I need to run 2 lines to it/ Thanks for the support, Eddy

thanks, my mounting seems to be pretty solid and with my in law being a machinist I have added an extra leg to it to make sure wind will not affect it, reading more postings I see that the VDR should have 2 cables going to it, right? I only have one on the (SWM-2) satallite input so I'm not sure...

one more thing, I'm using the slimline 5 as a setting on my H21 but reading the slimline dish description it says it's a 3 LNB dish. What setting do I use on my DVR? slimline 5 or 3LNB? Thanks Eddy

Thanks Zynergi, I'm starting to think my lnb is bad since I can only get my 101 up to about 50 or 60 but no better than that, what do you think? I'm getting 90's on the oval dish right next to it. Eddy
