Just to let any one know,it works.You can add a powered tv antenna to a swm system with the above di-plexors.

Would this work? This Diplexer is 2 SAT/Port Power Passing (PVDP-2PP) combine two separate signals into one signal from the satellite dish.

It's all outside and the power inserter for the ota antenna can't be out in the weather.

My house has 3 hd dvr's with the wiring built into the house.One of the dvr's has 2 cables to it but the other 2 only have 1.I want to be able to add the second tuners to them so i need the swm.I wanted to change the lnb as it is cheaper than adding the swm switch if possible.

I have the old style 18- by 24-inch Dish with the side-car lnbs for the ku bands.It's a AT9 dish. Can i replace the old lnb with a new swm lnb to add the extra receivers.Will the shape of the old dish work to get all the sats? Thanks

Not sure if it can be done without running a new coax line from the dish or can i split the single line that is pre-wired in the house so i can use both tuners on the dvr? The dish is a new slimline 5 lnb. Any thoughts?

I know in the old days of DTV you could combine dtv and OTA antenna through a sat. diplexor.I tried this with my new home setup with comcast cable and i could not get sat 99 at all.No signal.I remove the 2 diplxerors and conect direct and get signal at 99% It was only 99 that would not come in...
