LNB power on. Strange thing.....every 4 to 4 1/2 minutes signal jumps to 60 and quality drops to 0...for just a split second.

Set at 10750, which is the same as my coolsat, signal won't go above 8, and quality is between 0 and 4. It feels like I've tried every setting possible including the C bands just hoping to see higher signal and quality. This receiver has yet to lock onto any sat or pull up any TP or channel...

Thanks Brent, Firmware is the latest from Fortec according to SatelliteAV. I haven't been given the go ahead on doing another fresh firmware update from SatelliteAV yet, don't want to ruin my chance at warranty yet. Almost certain that it is the latest from the info I found at Fortec 3/17/07...

If I try another receiver will I have to reset my sg-2100, or can I go to my true south sat with the first receiver and just enter it's longitude as my physical longitude on the second receiver?

So true!...... My hope is that someday in the near future the broadcasters would realize their legitimacy to the true FTA user and include EPG info.
