I was expecting that this would be a regular filesystem check. Just wanted to be sure, the label on the DVR stating that it's very sensitive for shock or vibration scared me a little bit. On the other hand, I had never problems with any of my PC harddisks. :)

That is interesting, Bizzach. I tried to find that setting, looking in system setup/diagnostics and in updates. But I failed, how did you setup the diagnostics to follow the daily update? While searching I found the counters, which offers useful information. Thank you for your tips!

I had that too, when my DVR was installed. The installer told me that it takes more time to download the listing information. Also, you should turn off the DVR overnight, because software updates and program guides are then downloaded. Turning off doesn't disable timed recordings.

What I wish for is that I can jump from a current show to the dish pass setup. I would think that all the required information is right in front of me. Your reply sounds like I should have taken two steps. 1. Record the current show, 2. Find the next episode and create a dish pass from there.

I have the DVR in single mode (one tv hooked up) and I'm able to record two shows with both tuners and watch a third recorded show at the same time. It's not possible to record one show and watch another show with the same tuner. (Have you ever tried to listen to two radio stations on one radio?)
