Well I’ve tried this several times thanks to your idea but unfortunately still not recognizing it.... Ugh... I even had Dish send me a new Hopper3 in an attempt to trigger recognition to no avail unfortunately... Is there anyway to recover these programs somehow and maybe place them on a drive...

No because unless I let it reformat it, it doesn’t recognize it so it doesn’t complain... It really sucks because I have YEARS of MotoGP motorcycle racing programs on it as well as many other irreplaceable programs!

Ok, so I have a 500gb that I want to replace with 2 separate 2tb units, once I transfer all the stuff off the 500gb how do I get the Hopper to not recognize it as the #1 EHD?

If you can't see them how do you transfer items to or from them?

I did transfer most of my content to USB drive knowing I was getting new equipment but then the install tech told me I was out of luck to view it? My ani receiver was a 722 I think!
