Has Dish made any progress to resolving the issue with guides not showing any programming information (or the wrong programming information) for most of the OTA channels in my area. (Palm Springs?) The ABC channel shows Spanish Programming.. The CBS Channel shows FOX The CW HD Channel...

So I ended up "moving" to Los Angeles. They have tons more to offer there and I no longer need the stations that were missing since they carry them in LA (such as CW in HD and MeTV plus many independents...) and still can get the Palm Springs locals needed via the antenna. Best of both worlds now.

I attempted to get the above problem resolved with the guide data and found it is useless. The claim is they won't update any new changes unless Dish already carries the channels - this has been since 2011. I finally gave up and "moved" to Los Angeles from Palm Springs. Problem solved.

They were claiming Capacity with their equipment. And also they were talking about 2 different things, one was to carry channels (palm springs shares with Los Angeles market so we get the shaft) and also with the data, however as someone else pointed out on another thread, it's most likely BS...

Yes, I agree with you that I was BS'd but believe the person was regurgitating what she was told (and she was not technical). To the person complaining about the wrong data showing they would fix that. IF you want to shoot her a note, she would pass on any fixes to existing channels displaying...

Yes, I've come to see that.. Still, I had opened a ticket to their "engineering team" (before coming to this forum) to look into it and I will be curious if I ever get a response. It's interesting that everyone at Dish, even their "advanced support" has claimed noone else has ever complained...
