That would be me. I can't get Ota and I have lost my NBC channel because of Hearst.

Actually while I was using my favorites guide I plugged in that number and it stuck. It's been there ever since.

Funny thing, channel 404 is not available in the favorite's pick list.

It is still plugged into a surge suppressor that it has been plugged into ever since I got it. I don't think this was the cause. The old H3 was the same one I got when they first came out.

Yes it is working better than the old one did.

My H3 started rebooting over and over the other day. It would boot up and run about one minute then reboot again. I called Dish and they sent me a replacement receiver. I am 80 years old and did not think I could replace it myself so I had a tech come out and replace it for me.

How do you sign up for it? I can't find anything about it on My Dish web site.

I'm having the same issues. I think it's the guide. I think last Friday the guide froze and would not move past the page showing on the screen. I tried the power pull reboot and when it came back a box popped up and said the guide was restoring. The guide worked great for a few day but is doing...

Could it be that the HD is developing bad sectors causing the corruptions?

Possibly but what about the lost recordings? Some of the shows still had the icon for it but the show would not load. When I try to load it the blue squares just continue to roll and the show will not load. I just have to delete the icons.

I have been getting random pixelations on recorded and live shows. About two weeks ago the screen went black and a few seconds later a box popped up that said it was going through a systems check. About 15-20 minutes later it rebooted and everything looked OK but I did lose some recorded shows.

I ordered mine on 1/31/2016. The tech said this was the first one he had installed.
