DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

The ESPN and FuboTV apps have been doing this for a while now on the Apple TV, and it works like that. 4 screens at once, click on one to make it full screen, click the back button to go back to 4 screens, swipe left/right/up/down to select a screen for the audio. It’s pretty nice. I wish all...

Scott, thank you, I finally figured out how to turn on dark mode.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

I would think a lot of people wound not want the requirement of having to sign up for a YTTV subscription in order to get NFL Sunday Ticket, like it is now with Directv.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Rumors are now saying that Google may swoop in and take it to put it on YouTube TV.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

*does google search* Yeah it looks like only 6 games out of the 17 will also be available on ESPN+, of course those games were/will also be on ABC at the same time.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Is tonight’s game available for those that are on ESPN+ only?

So that confirms which was being discussed earlier in this thread.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

So is tonight’s Titans/Bills MNF game available on ESPN+ only, without a TV log in?

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Thank you. I think we agree on the same thing though. I know MNF was not available in past seasons, but it looks like that might be changing this season. We will find out on the 12th. I wonder if we’ll hear anything at tomorrows Apple event on NFL Sunday Ticket?
  14. TheRatPatrol

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

I think we are saying the same thing in different ways. :) Correct. ESPN+ on it’s own is going from $6.99 to $9.99 a month, or $69 a year to $99 a year. The Hulu combo is staying the same.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Yes, simulcast, which means at the same its being shown on the ESPN/ABC linear channels, just like it always has been, you need a cable/satellite/streaming service provider credentials in order to watch it on ESPN+. I can’t see ESPN allowing MNF to be on ESPN+ without that, they would lose a...
  16. TheRatPatrol

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

You still need to link a cable/satellite/streaming service provider to watch ABC and MNF/ESPN linear channel content on ESPN+.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

    Isn’t Star Link $125 a month now?

  23. TheRatPatrol

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Word is that it would be on YouTube, not YouTube TV.
  24. TheRatPatrol

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Thats on those devices whether or not they want to add that feature. I know the ESPN app on the Apple TV does quad PIP seamlessly and looks great. With today’s technology, and sports betting taking off in the past few years, I’m really surprised multi-game viewing hasn’t been a built in option...

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

I hope whoever gets it will allow for more than one log on for people that run multiple TV’s, and/or allow for PIP of 2, 4, 6 or 8 games at once, now that would be neat. I know the Apple TV box can handle that now.
